Hello and welcome to our end of the world wrap-up episode, including a message from our surprise guest – the Prime Minister of Australia!

Dan recounts his experience of being part of a zombie assembly line, which included his head being cut open and getting a shotgun blast to the chest, after which they put him in a holding pen.

Jerry and Dan deconstruct the film “Cabin in the Woods,” and why it gave Jerry nightmares.

Jerry asks Dan what would be considered the zombie bible nowadays, as in, what work of zombie lore would actually be considered the authority of what is and what isn’t proper “zombism.” Specific old movies? The Walking Dead? The Zombie Survival Guide?

Both also share what lame survival plans they have for when the world ends this coming Friday. Also covered are the 8 essential elements of a proper end of the world party.

Finally! Dan now has a garden zombie!

Did you like the movie Priest? Did the initial premise bother you? What did you think of the religion vs. church theme? Dan and Jerry discuss this at length.

They also touch upon Doctor Who, movies made from comic books, classic zombie movies, and … Josie and the Pussycats?

Uh, what? Josie and the Pussycats? It turns out one of them had a crush on the cartoon girls when he was a kid. Can you guess which one? Was it Dan, or Jerry?

This has nothing to do with this episode, but it’s damn cool!

Zombism is spreading. Or maybe just the bath salt drug? It will be interesting to see how it affects the upcoming presidential elections.

Only minutes before recording this episode, Jerry’s daughter introduced him to her new favorite band, “Creature Feature,” and Jerry loved it so much he used one of their songs for the outro. Good stuff! When he brought it up to Dan, Dan introduced Jerry to “The Creepy Creeps.”

Did you know there’s a special target range, and we’re talking about one with real guns, where they  teach you to survive the zombie apocalypse? Real zombie hunting with real guns? Yikes!

Speaking of which, after the inevitable happens and we’re all zombies, what happens to love? Well, fear not – there’s a zombie dating site!

Back from our summer hiatus, Dan and I are glad that the zombie apocalypse didn’t happen without us.

Lots of good books in this episode, including Zombies on a Plane by Brooks Peck. Dan gives his belated review of the Alien kinda-prequel movie, and Jerry gives him advise on how to keep his brain from deteriorating. Also Jerry gives his review of Death Wish Coffee, the coffee strong enough to awaken the dead.

Which one is more bad ass?

Between people eating off other people’s faces, throwing their own intestines at the police, and genetics laboratories tweeting for people to evacuate the immediate vicinity, Dan and Jerry are pretty much convinced the Zombie Apocalypse is nigh.

Jerry is on an alien invasion kick and compares the two main movie versions of The War of the Worlds.

Dan is ready to go buy some guns and stock up on bottled water.

Both can’t wait to see Prometheus. And both liked the sci-fi indie “Monsters” with tentacled aliens which are actually cool in a non-ironic way.

Dan gives his take on Dark Shadows. He liked it. Did you?

Dan and Jerry wrap up Walking Dead’s second season with questions and spoilers. Jerry wonders if starting with season three, the whole thing is going to get a lot less realistic.

So, according to The Walking Dead, zombies … follow helicopters?

Dan discusses his feelings (or lack thereof) for “Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-animation,” in which the only good thing about the film was Jeffrey Combs. Also discussed are the animated features on the “I Am Legend” DVD which, in many ways, are much more interesting than the actual film.

Dan and Jerry also discuss the upcoming Run For Your Lifes zombie races, in which Dan is participating (as a shuffling zombie, of course), and also talk about the documentary “Girl 27″ which is an example of how there really is horror in real life, and the worse monsters are human.

Zombibi: “The bizarre story takes place in Amsterdam-West, where a virus turns people into bloodthirsty zombies. Although much blood is flowing and many limbs chopped off, there is a lot to laugh at in this bizarre horror comedy.” What’s not to love about this? Oddly, it’s Jerry who can’t wait to see it.

Dan talks about Dead Snow, a movie that regales us with Nazi zombies, and both Dan and Jerry can’t wait to see Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Slayer. This leads to talk about how maybe Richard M. Nixon can be recreated as a werewolf hunter.

There’s some confusion over which season of The Walking Dead is starting this weekend.

Dan and Jerry are pissed off at Marvel for giving the Ghost Rider creator the shaft.

Horror and Sci-Fi movies, old and new. Dan finds a straight to video sequel that is not only far better than the original, but is actually awesome.

Is 3D really necessary in movies? Is a re-release of Star Wars in 3D something that fires your blasters?

Brad Pitt takes on zombies...

Dan and Jerry are looking for some feedback on this one, friends. They’ve both come up with some ideas for what they think are original projects but want to know if the ideas are as original as they think they are.

Right in the middle of the recording a fire alarm went off and Jerry had to evacuate the building.

He’s able to come back later and they finish, but something weird happened and Jerry’s audio has a strange bit of echo in it. Just letting you know here he didn’t do that on purpose to be artsy or whatever. He thinks somehow the computer’s built-in microphone was being recorded at the same time as his external one.
